    ... Not enough time to do a tour, but were allowed to go into the stands and check it out. Was pretty cool to see. Then we took off again and got to Brunswick for the night. Actually got off the highway and drove into town. What an I say. Very unusual town. And quite honestly wouldn't feel safe staying n town.     ... the people were the rockefellers, the pulitzers, sears, vanderbilts,carnegies, etc. the whole island was a private club for the members and their guests and the people who served them. they would winter here from the northeast. most of their "cottages" are still here and in good repair. one of the cottages is a restaurant, one is an art gallery, some are just places that tourist could go inside and see. some of the small servant quarters are gift shops and ...
