      ... for a walk down to the riverfront and took a couple of pictures and went into an antique book store. I saw Trixie Belden books for $25 for a pack of 4 or 5! The frontage is all made of cobblestone and is very old and beautiful. They had some lovely and quaint shops dotted down there. We had to be back to load onto our organised Trolley ride through the squares of Savannah at 1.00 pm. We were given a map and some discounts and a sticker for a full days ...

      ... didn't see one personally or I would have freaked out. I have no idea how I'm going to get through Louisiana!
      We enjoyed a tour of the park and then continued on our trip further south.
      We made it as far as Woodbine, which is just above Florida.

      ... Not enough time to do a tour, but were allowed to go into the stands and check it out. Was pretty cool to see. Then we took off again and got to Brunswick for the night. Actually got off the highway and drove into town. What an I say. Very unusual town. And quite honestly wouldn't feel safe staying n town.       ... of the National Historic Landmark District, including many of the mansions their millionaire owners called “cottages”. On Thurs, 27 March we enjoyed the tram tour through the Historic District and going inside a couple of the cottages. Unfortunately we were unable to take any photos inside any of the homes. After our tour we were treated to a wonderful Brunch at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.

      As we left St. Augustine for Georgia we found that it was going to be a windy trip. As the wind continued Jeff had me check the Weather Channel on my phone. It was noon and the weather report right up the coast and particularly for Brunswick was " Tornedo watch until 8:00 p.m. Winds of 45-60 mph expected".
