    ... in the world. So there! After that, we dropped by the ruins of a C12 monastery founded by the Cistercian monks from France. We then drove along the coastline through an eco park, to get to some Iron Age burial sites. The first one was not so well maintained, but the next one had 24 huge stones in the shape of a ship.     We are currently on our train from Stockholm to Copenhagen. We are on a regional train to Malmo and then quick change into Copenhagen for the final half hour. We are on the Hogwarts express for sure. Our first class tickets gave us a free breakfast in the dining cart. Train travel is from another time.     ... it from the seabed 30 metres at the bottom of the port. The detail and the fact that 90% of it is original is difficult to comprehend when you are standing there in the museum looking at it. What an interesting story in determination and commitment to history. I would have needed a lot of rum to stay warm in those days...don't think I was built for the 1600's ...

    ... is pretty, lots of trees, mainly conifers. We stop for lunch in Norrkoping, pronounced Nor-shopping, a city of 100,000 souls, large mills and a dam. Formerly a center for textile manufacture, it is now a college town; the only evidence of any activity that we saw, other than eating of course, was a heavily promoted Titanic exhibit next to the tourist bureau.

    Up at 8:00 and out the door for Karlsborg on the Vattern Lake via Lacko Slott, a 13th century castle (renovated in the 17th century) just outside of Lidkoping, on Vernern Lake.
