... valley and town. There is of course plenty of guard rails that prevent any chance of a fall. But, when your that high up with winds gusting to 50mph, with an established fear of heights, its a bit scary. You can see the fear in my eyes in the pictures that Jonathan took of me. 4-5 minutes up there was enough, and then down we went!

It's the morning of our last day here, and we're about to grab breakfast at our B&B. After a quick walk on the wall were headed to ...

... was not ready yet so we set our bags down and decided to wander about town. Quickly though, I'll describe the room. Our bed-and-breakfast is above a café, and once again we've been put in the top story A-frame room (on the third floor, up two stories and then a final spiral staircase to our room). The scenery was amazing, the little towns so ...

... the moonlit sky. Pictures couldn't do it justice, since we didn't bring a tripod on this trip. What a night! We window-shopped our way back down our street--the safest way to shop since the stores are all closed. We had a beer in a little street cafe, and came back to our hotel via the alley: the front door closes at 9 pm, and our key opens the back door to the courtyard. And now it is time for bed! We regret that we only had this one day in Rothenburg. ...

Karlovy Vary

... mineral springs continuously flow and people just walk up and fill up their cups. I decided to take it slow and only get a small amount. Turns out it was the right call. It was gross. My last cup was at the geyser - it shoots 12 meters in the air and they have totally enclosed it in glass. After that we walked down the street and had lunch. I just had a simple chicken breast with rice. At this point though I needed a beer to settle ...
