      ... sets on a little tram car and then into costume and prop rooms. They have over 4,500 props, all catalogued, lots of them coming from England and the Continent.

      There are literally thousands of palm trees which are not native to here - they were planted in the 30's an 40's in the hope of making it look like a beach resort.

      Back in Los Angeles for one night then heading to hawaii to catch the next plane to kauai. It is coooooooold. Lucky we had our one pair of long pants and a jumper. The best news now is I am catching up with my cousin in hawaii, she lives in Canberra and just found out we are in hawaii around the same time.....funny to have to travel overseas to catch up.

      ... knew of some other companies who could take us later on in the day. This made us both quite nervous however the driver turned up 10 minutes later so we had nothing to worry about. He was quite chatty with us at first pointing out certain things in downtown LA on our way to picking up a couple from Santa Barbara but he suddenly stopped talking to us so the bus was really silent until the other couple got on as we were the only people on the bus.
