    They gave out prizes for various things like tee shirts and cupcakes - Rosie was very excited she got a cupcake for enthusiastic audience participation.

    ... wasn't too packed. We stayed on the beach drinking and eating and chatting for a good couple of hours, we spoke to people behind us on the beach and they said that there would also be fireworks off a barge to our left as well as the ones on the pier to our right. The barge ones were run by a lady that lives there and does it as a tribute to her husband. Supposedly it costs $75,000 which is crazy but they were totally worth it. After sunset we walked ...

    ... must see, just because". You can't have spend 3 days in LA, without passing by Hollywood.

    Especially during the daytime there isn't much spectacular about it at all, in the morning there are not many tourists though, so if you want to take some pictures of stars (on the ground of course) and hand-or foot prints, without a masse of other tourists standing in your way, I would recommend to talk a stroll before lunch. Then return at night ...
