Today was a true driving day. We traveled over 500 miles crossing over almost three states. We continued across the panhandle of Texas, through Oklahoma, and across much of Kansas finally stopping at Topeka.

Most of the pictures were quick, drive by as we traveled. The cross was in Groom, Texas and is advertised as the largest cross in North America. We did run into Clinton, Oklahoma where ...

... monument we traveled west on NE 4 and south on US 77 into Kansas. We continued south on US 77 in Kansas to US 36 east, and then south on US 75 to the town of Mayetta and our campground at the “Prairie Band Casino & Resort RV Park”. After setting up camp we headed into the casino for dinner at the buffet, which was better than we expected; after dinner we spent some time at the slot machines where we came away on the positive side.
