    ... of discharge co-ordinators. They go through EVERY bed and give a reason for them taking up a double room (MRSA, C-Diff, Neutropenia (?they get the luxury of a side room?!!) etc). They are a community hosp and have approx 250beds....could you image going into that much detail for around 1700 of our beds?
    Geeky stuff...but they don't screen routinely for MRSA (unless they're surg pts) as they don't treat with bactroban. This is to prevent the strain ...
