... an hour both children we engaged in an epic game of tag with at least10 other children, all about the same age. The delight on the children's faces really made my day. Looking around the park it felt like a scene from a film, sunshine, children playing tag, a man strumming on his guitar, a basketball game in full swing, frisbee games in action and lots of skateboards being ridden around. It was really cool. Next step to pack up the suitcases one last ...
... while Aya and John walked down to the little bridge - very pretty. Before going back to the house, we stopped at two big hardware/garden centres and bought some plastic pots, potting mix and tomato plants, chilli plants and were going to also get basil, but we didn't like the variety on offer, so Aya will go back to the first shop to get that later. ... England play Poland... Three beers and a burger later and we're through! Brazil here we come!! I must admit - there have been times lately when I didn't think we'd make it..... We'll be back for a night out ...

By old, as our driver told us, 1000 years old vs the new section which is 100s of years old. Lots if old narrow streets with so many restaurants and shops. We took a random turn down a narrow street and came upon a beautiful square called Placa Real, mow that's what I'm talking amount! Reminds me a lot of walking around ...
... It looks like a good leg, lots of ocean, redwood forests and not much civilization. We may get to finally use the camping gear that the TY'S staff donated to the trip. I'm looking forward to a space where the wild and crazy things inhabit the forest, not the street cars. Incidentally , Ben's house houses 6 guys and it is very much like you would expect a house of 6 guys to be like, but Annette is holding up well and so far has resisted her urge to scrub and scour ...
