Monday morning and we unhooked the bikes and headed off to explore The Entrance. We wound our way around the pretty decent cycle track that took us on both side of the lake and along the ocean. Bootie Bootie was nice but the weather made it a tad harder - no swimming or boogie boarding and not even much fishing - nice bush walk tho!!
We had fun in the Tuncurry Forster townships and had a swim in the Forster rock pool. The water in the river was so clear and a gorgeous turquoise colour - truly non river like!
... The kids loved the indoor play centre and we braved the indoor heated pool, even though the day saw me wearing a jumper for the first time in months. The pool was great for the kids though, with a large section in differing stages of depth for the kids to play on. They loved it. ... a small township, or perhaps a Town Square and it reminded us of a Toy Town. Everything was built to the same Federation design, all painted the same colour and very manicured and landscaped gardens and seemed just a little too "neat", There was a purpose built ecumenical church, cafes, medical centre and pharmacy, and IGA.
