    ... and had a look at the aircraft carrier, Midway which is now a tourist attraction. It is massive and I can hardly wait to board it. It is included in our GoCard package. They have a wonderful Bob Hope statue display with sound from Bob Hope telling jokes to the troops. Finally I loved this statue of the famous kiss by the sailor to a nurse after WWII ended.

    ... line for the bus tour which was the only line we had. It took nearly an hour to get going. We really walked a lot considering the heat. We did not see everything, but we did not miss much, except the kiddy area and animals. After the t shirt shopping we left at 4:45. The temperature in the car in the parking lot was 95!! I mean hot and humid! As we drove along the temp went down to 91!

    ... with a pool and slide and two cute dogs. The kids (and me..) got our dog fix as we have been missing Winston terribly! We had a wonderful home cooked meal!     Picked up hire car and took the freeway from Los Angeles to San Diego. Journey took about 3 hours, so not too long a trip. We managed to find the road that the apartment was on without too much trouble, but finding the actual apartment was a little bit tricky.     Our visit to SeaWorld was great, we took it slow and felt very relaxed. There wasn't a lot of people visiting today and this made it quite easy to get seats in the outdoor arenas to view the shows. We saw a very entertaining sea lion and otter show called Sea Lions Live with two human characters telling a story with the animals performing.
