FYI, Thing, the GPS, had an episode or two today! He was showing directions for a street parallel to the street we were actually on. A strange sight on the screen. I think it is trying to keep us on our toes...which is not good in my case. Whoever put the streets into the data bank for California must have been high on something!

So this goodbye was difficult, but I managed to stick to my Breezer ways and sped off before any real emotions sunk in. ... to just the three of us again, we drove to La Jolla, CA to sightsee and do a bit of tide pooling. We also visited Torrey Pines where we watched gliders sail the cliffs. The movie "The Lone Ranger", was our next stop and then back to camp for pizza and a dance show & fireworks at the campground.
It was a fabulous reunion and tribute to Dex's father. Now it's time to load up and head north.
