... new swimming pool. The old one was condemned by the health department, and the city leaders decided the town needed a pool, so they built a new one.

We had a great lunch of sandwiches and snacks, and rested for nearly an hour. Then it was time to mount up again, ride back to the main road, and face the headwinds again. We were able to stop on the way out of town at a convenience store to fill our water bottles with ice and water; cold water ...

Made it to Fargo, ND today. It snowed this morning in Wisconsin and we met Emmy's friend for lunch in Minneapolis, MN.
We also stopped at an REI for a few minutes.

Roads in Minnesota this evening were icy in spots and it was very windy, but we went slow and made it here safely.

Sorry, there isn't much else to say since we haven't done any sight seeing yet. Planning on entering Canada tomorrow, so things should become more interesting.

Even though my flight doesn't leave until 10:34, I was at the airport at 4:15 to make sure the other 20 people got off ok. No such luck :p. After 3 1/2 hours and lots of searching, they are on their way to Minneapolis to fly out tomorrow. Guess I'm on my own with no responsible adult in sight....haha! As long as my flights go smoothly, I'll be into Dubai tomorrow at 3:35 pm and then to ...

Resignation. This is going to be a longer trip than we thought.

But we're on the way and things are falling into place! We are seeking the things to be grateful for. And we are grateful that sitting in the exit seats from Fargo to Chicago that we did not have to assist with opening the emergency door.

More to come! Our Korean Air flight is on time, we are having a big $ breakfast across from our gate, and will be in the air in two ...
