... was built in 1959, so is the same age as Darryl. There was also a small historical village which was really nice.

We left there and drove on to Fargo, where we are staying the night.

We lost a bit of time today with the Kia being detained for inspection, the windscreen chip repair on the Ford and also we lost an hour with a time change.

Tomorrow will be another big day of driving to get to ...

I thought the sign said the Minnesota River, and my research on this is not clear. In any event, we ended up on the other side and at the infamous Mall of America. I could not pass through without experiencing this place. And it is truly amazing. There is even an amusement park inside and I watched some of the rides, which were huge.

Well, here we were a day I'd been looking forward to – Keith and Loraine our trusty neighbours, arriving for their adventure with us. Perfect timing, we arrived at the Airport as they did – how great to see them!! Straight to the Store to ensure we had the type of food they liked – what was I thinking? – they were happy with …

... Dakota and Minnesota. We hoped to take a canoe tour, but they were not operating due to high waters. We saw where the river had overflowed it's banks. The river looked like it was running very fast. We walked out to the bridge over the river. Ryan stood on the North Dakota side, and Sean stood on the Minnesota side. We stopped at the Fargo Moorhead visitor center. Daddy wanted to ...
