      ... stopped. We crawled along for about 2 hours while traffic heading west zoomed by. We were certain there was a multi-car pile-up but the only thing we came upon was construction at a bridge. Once we resumed speed the rain started. And did it come down! And still the cars whiz by. Then back into sunshine and heat. Subway beckoned to us at Golden so we ate a late lunch and changed drivers.
