If you're looking to stay in a clean hotel right on a main road, with good customer service and a complimentary morning meal, the Ramada on the Parkway is a great choice.
Not only will you have faster access to see all of Pigeon Forge's attractions, but you can enjoy a convenient breakfast just beyond the main lobby. Besides a buffet style of foods to choose from, you can also take a dip in the heated pool or sit in the hot tub.

Although I am sad to be leaving Nashville, I am thrilled to be on my way to my final destination. I have been having some pretty expensive breakfasts at the resort so today had pancakes from McDonald's for only $2.19. For lunch I had Chick-Fil-A for $5.95. For dinner ...
Doing this as a blog post so that those that are interested can view it and those that aren't....well that's okay. We've been thinking about doing this since we were there in September. We had a small lunch of leftover veggies which was a welcome change from the huge meals we had been eating lately and then took a long walk to the grocery store. Chris wanted to make a pasta sauce to take on the road so we went and got all the ingredients. It ...
Today we drove to Cades Cove in Smoky Mountain National Park. Because it was through the mountains, the road was slow but picturesque. We stopped at a picnic area for lunch, then continued on towards the Cades Cove loop. Part way along the loop, we hiked to the Abrams Falls. About a 5 m hike ...
Today we drove through the center of the park. We did a short trail walk in the afternoon and then headed to Clingman's dome (6643ft high) for sunset - around 5:30. There were snow banks on the sides of the road as we drove up to Clingman's dome trailhead. At times along the way, you would see little snowmen that people would have built. They had an early snowfall 2 days ...
