At our first night at an airbnb, we were made to feel very welcome by Vicki and Buddy, they showed us to a very lovely large bedroom with an onsuite. Having slept very well the next morning we left early for Gatlinburg, the second attempt! No short cuts, no scenic routes just the Interstate all the way. As we were just about to leave the park boundaries we saw a spot on the river that had a bunch of people on inner tubes. We stopped and turned around to get a picture and take in the sights. We also snapped a picture of the park entrance sign since we missed it coming into the park earlier today.
