... trailer again :-) In addition to all the day time things at Celebration, there was also plenty happening after dark, from street parties to dinner banquets held by the 501st and Rebel Legion (RL) costuming groups. I had tickets for both but only ended up going to the RL banquet, opting to see the movie with a couple of Aussie friends instead of the 501st bash. The list of things in offer for fans just goes on and on. A very full four days ...

... and James showed his skill. Even though this ride is 60 years old, it still works really well.

Since everyone loved the Little Mermaid ride the previous day, that was on the list for another visit.

The main event in the evening was Fantasmic! - a sound, light, and fireworks display with live actors in the Disneyland Park. It was a gripping 20 minute extravaganza. Before we headed home for the night, we watched the fireworks display - ...

The fireworks weren't until 9:15pm, so we had about four hours ...

... like they were going to be great but ended up being really lame. We lined up for 25 minutes to go on the Peter Pan ride and it was terrible. Lasted about 3 minutes and even the kids got bored with it. The same with the Finding Nemo ride. Big line-up and boring ride. You go in a half submerged submarine to look at coral, except all the coral is fake. After lunch me and Fletch did the Space Mountain. It's a roller coaster in the dark ...

... we'd done everything else we wanted, and waited in a 45 minute line that was so worth it! Our most favourite ride of the day. Plus, we appreciated it better the second time!

The famous Disneyland attraction 'It's a Small World' was very well done, beautiful green hedges were shaped into different animals, small boats floated on a blue canal, quaint umbrellas shaded the staff and of course the song Ít's a small world after all' played through ...
