    ... Davidsons work, from Hotrods to Paintings, blows you away, but to meet the man while he was giving a personal tour was Incredible. Just another Money can't buy moment. Willie G, Grandson to one of the founders of Harley Davidson, Spending his valuable time to chat with me, An honour sir, Thank you.
    lol, I also obtained my first T shirt of the trip. How could I not!

    I think I may struggle to sleep tonight! Tomorrow is the start of Route 66......

    ... planning to pray for more than their own children, but it was neat to know that both families were supporting each other in this way, the same with the Risinger family. :)

    The bus ride to Chicago was a lot of last minute instructions and reminders. It did not seem like it was really a 2 hour drive.

    I was still unsure if I was super excited, completely neutral, or scared to death! Maybe a little of all three :)

    ... out and went straight to bed. This morning we slept in and then we went on a search to find an ornament. We first went to the Milwaukee Downtown Information Center only to find it closed so we looked online and it had listened Kloiber Jewelers (a local jewelry store) as a place that also sold them, so we headed over that way. Milwaukee has an ornament series that chooses a building each year to represent the city in the ornament. When we got there we met the ...

    ... by Dan, Bailey and Derrick who we met on couch surfing. They were so welcoming and friendly. They had the afternoon all lined up so we could get as much in as possible. They basically gave us a full private tour of the city explaining what every building was with a few good stories thrown into the mix.

    We luckily came on the weekend when Milwaukee open doors was on, a number of buildings ...

    ... voucher. Beer voucher was spent at a bar who's name escapes me, but Les enjoyed the outside fire pit which is probably the last thing you need on a day like this. A few beers and bars later we managed to grab some food at the "Swingin Door Exchange" where we tried the "Spicy Vermouth Carrots". Carrots have never tasted so good and been so unhealthy. From what i could tell it was carrots soaked in sugar and butter, yum!
