        ... what it was...) So there! Sioux Falls sits on billion year old quartzite, which was once covered by a mile thick glacier. Now a days the exposed rock bed makes for a lovely waterfall park in the center of town. We saw (and smelled) the Hormel plant nearby and elected not to take a tour.
