... Boardwalk Trail. Although most of the elevated boardwalk was closed, a short section that leads to an overlook on Weston Lake was still open, so we were able to go out there for views of the oxbow lake. There was Spanish moss hanging from trees along the shore making for a beautiful scene. We made it to our first hotel...Days Inn in Orangeburg, SC. It was a nice place and the price was right. We pulled into the hotel lot and saw several vehicles from Ohio. We were pooped...I don't think I have gone to sleep before 10:00 in a long time!

Yes, I have a pee pot (more about that later). Men can just hang off the side of the truck. Fueling up takes a long time....we have a small tank. They can get up to 300 gallons though. To fill the tank on this truck can cost $750! Besides fueling there ...

Traffic was heavy on all three lanes of I 95 going North; mostly cars, with some RVs and a few trailer trucks. There were a few of those huge RV buses that were being driven by the old and infirm. One guy (I have yet to see a woman drive one of the diesel pushers) was going down the middle ...
