The Homebuilt campsite had pretty much emptied by the end of the weekend, the diehard Brits remaining. The camping gear packed up and sent on its way to await our arrival in Dallas, we were ready to go by 1000hrs, waved off by Colin. Destination Dayton, Ohio, we routed along Lake Winnebago to Milwaukee (where we made a turn to go behind a converging aircraft), across Lake Michigan, east ...

Robin with a large (heavy!) owl figurine made from ebony wood and I with a small Steiff tiger...lots of different Steiff animals other than just teddy bears - I may have to start collecting!!

Looking forward to our continued adventures tomorrow!

There were other hawk pipes that would have been facing the smoker. Might have to investigate the possible meaning for this exception to the rule...
