        ... Bay and the city skyline despite the mist and wind. We arrived at the other side just as the big bus arrived so we jumped on and went back over the bridge again!! In total we crossed the bridge four times, once on foot and three times on the bus. Certainly had our money`s worth.         ... flavour - the smell of weed in public, fog in the morning, sun in the afternoon, efficient public transport. We arrived on Saturday night from LA via our $26 bus, and were greeted by a party at our host's house with the question "are you guys the couple from Australia?!?" It happens all the time. Fortunately, they were more impressed when they discovered our kiwi origins. We managed to score a private room (for free) and we were out like a light.

        Rain had set in for the day in New York. We were picked up by shuttle a bit before 8.30am and did the rounds filling the van and were still at Newark airport by 9.15, for our 12.50 departure to San Francisco.         ... und der dortige Boardwalk. Sehr vergleichbar mit dem Steg in Brighton, nur dass die Achterbahnen leider alle geschlossen waren. Für Oskar, Ferdi und Max wäre es am Wochenende auf jedenfall der Himmel auf Erden!
