    Today I got up about 7 and went for a wander to find a laundry and somewhere to get a massage. The former was easy, 20 metres down the down, charges $1.45 per pound of laundry. A massage was a lot harder and I gave up. We tried breakfast at the hotel but it was a lost cause, so went to ihop. Fantastic. $12.95 for sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, has Browns and strawberry and white chocolate pancakes. Then we wandered down to the bike hire ...

    ... again at Pier 39. It was a nice sunny day and from where we were sitting we had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, a Navy Ship, Forbes Island and the sea lions. So it was worthwhile getting up early after all!

    Most of the shops were closed until 10am but there were a few souvenir shops open so we made our way around each and every one, all selling the exact same things, but for some reason I still love looking at all the rubbish on offer!!

    ... San Fran. We did go to the top of one of the cliffs so that we had a very good view over the bay - shame the sun wasn't out!

    Once we were back at Union Square we decided to head to The Cheesecake Factory above Macy's and have a spot of lunch before doing a bit of shopping. The food and service - as always - was amazing. We had their 30th anniversary cheesecake and it was amazing - worth trying for sure!

    ... They switch places and the boy promptly falls asleep... dads have all the luck huh? While I find all of this annoying, I am more proud as I realize that my girls are more well behaved, and patient than I give them credit for. I'll have to point that out to them sometime... maybe.
