Bags are packed, weight checked and we are all ready for our flight to Miami tomorrow. As some of you will remember when we first mentioned our two year overseas trip, we were focussed on San Fran. Whilst we have enjoyed our time here, we are super pleased we re-routed to London.

... the wait was a bit ridiculous, really. It took nearly one and a half hours before we finally took off for the trip back to the city centre ! From the cable car's final stop, we walked back to the hotel, and on the way, sat for a while in the sun on one of the tiers at Union Square. Many other people there, soaking up the sun, and it was pleasant. We didn't go out again and just settled in for the evening, watching TV and doing emails ...
... listened to a talk on the escape and heard the arguments as to why they would and would not have mangaed to survive the escape. Then we watched the closing and opening of the cell doors and got to hear what they would here on a daily basis and learn about their routine. This was an incredible evening.
