    ... talked about our day. We decided to drive Jimmy around and check out the different areas. Our first stop was Betty’s Kitchen, the site of a 1930’s café, and now a day use area. This area was also devastated by fire in 2011. It is next to Laguna Dam, the first dam to build on the Colorado River. Mittry Lake is part of the flood plain of the Colorado River.     Saturday, we again ate later. As we left the ship we were surprised to see another large ship on the other side of the pier that made our ship look small. After walking around we went back to the ship, laid on the deck and read, had lunch, then went to the beach for the afternoon again. The ship left Huatulco at 1600 heading to Puerto Chiapas.

    ... last night .As we went out for dinner and drinks.
    About 12 of the "usual suspects" as Jamie calls them flew from Melbourne to be here to witness Ben and Jamie renew their commitment in front of family and friends, this coming Saturday.

    It promises to be a fun weekend so will sign off now to resume after the event.

    ... next few days so we jumped in with them and had a look around the walk of fame. There was a free comedy night on at Hooters so we figured why not! After some very American entertainment and food ( chilly cheese fries and nachos ) we then drove down to Santa Monica Pier and saw it all lit up.
