There's a touristy area that was once the Old Town and it's been rebuilt to look like the original Mexican-Spanish settlement that marked the birth of California. It was a little too touristy for our tastes, but it was interesting to see, architecturally and culturally nonetheless.
I was so tired last night after the Zoo that I decided to wait till today and write a double entry about the two days we have had so far in San Diego.
First though, I'd like to write about a few things I have learned on our travels so far:
1 - Whatever time you planned to leave in the morning add half an hour (on a good day) to an hour (on a less good day).

Tony and I drove down to San Diego on Thurday and went out to a Frat Party for Rahul's 23rd birthday. Garrett came down Friday morning and we went to Green Flash Brewery, AleSmith and Ballast Point.
