... Cafe, for Seafood Chowder and Prawns which are lovely. We get back on the trolley bus and go to Coronado Island and stop at the Del Coronado Hotel. The beach at Coronado is magnificent and has one many championships. It has regularly been voted one of the top five beaches in the USA. After a stroll along the beach and check out the fantastic sand castle we get the trolley bus back to the Old Town and pick up the car back to the apartment.
... and then proceeded to the lunch bar for a bite to eat while our luggage was loaded on board.
Our cabin is in the 9th deck with a balcony which is great. Our concierge is Francisco and he is at our disposal 24/7. Also waiting in our cabin was a bottle of bubbly sitting in a nice bucket.
We are now off to dinner in the fancy restaurant called Blu, so I will let you know more later.

We returned to San Diego from our Hawaiian retreat. Seems like a cool place but the skies were grey and full of cloud and the temperatures were cooler than anything we'd got used to lately! It's fantastic to be in the sun, I feel content and healthy, and I don't know how I will adapt to the UK climate again! ...
... the Canal and south, with overnight stops all along the coast in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, around Cape Horne, up through Argentina and Uruguay with overnight stops in Buenos Aires, up to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, and that’s just the first 50 days! Then we go back around to Valparaiso (Santiago) in Chile, then back around to BA, then we go down to Antarctica for Christmas and New Year. It’s going to be a real journey and I’m looking forward to that.
