    The road to San Diego was largely uneventful besides some steep declines through the mountains in Arizona and a stop for lunch at Del Taco (a west coast version of Taco Bell). This changed once we hit the California border when out of nowhere we came to a border patrol station (even though we never left the states).     ... unfortunately as our camera picks and chooses when it wants to be waterproof we didn't bring it along :( ) Apparenly sealions bite, who knew!! Paddled into one of the caves and saw 2 sleeping sealions and a few heavy waves made it a bit of an adventure. Headed back to shore dodging the couple who initially fell off they appeared to have no paddling abilities or sense of direction!! Group of 10 kayaks headed back into shore and only one tipped in the waves... Mine!!! Damn ...
