... Yukon wasn't really into road maintenance quite as much as they should have been. As we pulled up to our hotel, a tour bus full of cruise ship-land-excursion people unloaded at the same time. Call us smug, but we felt a bit superior having driven there ourselves from Florida. We ate at the Klondike Rib & Salmon which was... just... wow. They have the second season and we are anxious to start watching ...

Coming out of Dawson Creek road conditions were good as we passed by farms and rolling hills. There were plenty of moose crossing signs along the way.

As we left our fuel stop ...

... British Columbia. I'm not sure why, but BC gas is much higher in price than Alberta Gas. Here we filled up for $1.52 per liter. I put in 51 gallons for just under $300.00, or around $6.00 per gallon Canadian. Also, in Ft Nelson, was a very quirky museum. We watched another film here, on an antique TV, and saw a stuffed albino moose. They had a car collection and various old pieces of equipment, from the building of the highway.
