... in our coach. We wanted Mike to go first but he wouldn't. We made it to Fort Nelson today. We weren't sure if we would get through because of a forest fire. We had to follow a lead vehicle through the burned area. It was very smoky and a helicopter was still dumping water on some of the area. Tomorrow we will only drive 200 miles because we will be going through some rough roads due to construction. Till next time. ...
We got up early, 4:30, for a 5:30 departure. Everything was prepared as the clouds rolled in at 20 knots above our heads. The ceiling was down to 2000 feet and the wind was howling. No way to return and land if we couldn't get there. So, we tied down again and went to the terminal to find coffee and wifi.

After a social/travel meeting at 5PM, we had dinner at the campground’s restaurant and sat with another couple from Indiana. Storm clouds and rains were headed towards us for the night, so we batten down the hatches and hunkered down for the night.
