    ... Lots of guitars on display and facts and figures about country music charting its history from roots in European folk, gospel, blues and jazz. Afterwards we went downtown to sample the music on offer in the bars on Broadway which curiously was more rock than country.     ... both the Green and Blue free buses I discovered 3rd & 4th Streets...Thats where the real downtown Nashville is.     ... This would turn out to be a big mistake as sure enough, bags had to be removed and the first ones to go are the ones with the bright green "nonrev" tags on them.     ... is the Upper Peninsula. So we added just over a week there. All in all it will be around a 45 day trip. Sounds like a long trip for the typical American, but not so long for us – last year's Southwest trip was 60 days and the 08’ trip to Alaska was 70 days. One major addition on this trip is the fact we will have three dogs which might add a little bit of maintenance to the trip. So off we go in search of new lands and adventures.
