How can something as simple as watching grown men play baseball wear one out so thoroughly? Maybe throw in an hour and a half drive over unfamiliar territory? Maybe raise the temperature into the mid-80s? Maybe ensure a near total absence of shade (but offer an occasional breeze in relief)? Maybe toss in several thousand other people to impinge on …

The Teaser: It's late. It's been a long day. We are about to lose an hour to Daylight Savings Time. So most of today's blog is going to have to wait until I grab a few poolside hours in the morning. As we begin this visit I thought it would be nice to look back on our previous trips, so I assembled a collection of pictures from all our previous visits. The pictures are in no special order but as you look at them you can't help but feel that they tell their own story. If ...

Today we drove to Discovery Cove and had breakfast. Then we explored the park. First we walked to the Aviary and saw some beautiful kinds of birds. We also got to feed them which was really fun because sometimes they come and land on your hand. One of the pigeons landed on the top of my head.

Then we went to the Grand Reef and saw stingrays and some beautiful coral and colourful fish when we were snorkelling. Sometimes the stingrays ...
