... to ride. We crossed NY on Hiways 8,12, 49, and I 90 to arrive at Hiway 14 which runs from I 90 to Watkins Glen.. We hen we arrived at Watkins glen the traffic was significant, probably due to the Automobile Races going on this weekend and next weekend. The hike was pretty neat up into this gorge formed over past 12,000 years fro mwater erosion by the river. We walked along part of the river bed so Sraddha could cool off by getting feet wat on return trip.

We have 4 days to travel only 300 miles to Plattsburgh through the Adirondack Mountains of northeastern New York where we will pick up a care package next Wednesday so we can be more leisurely about driving.
