... looked at the Cloud Gate (the bean) at Millennium Park and then looked in the shops. Had lunch at the hard Rock and then walked back through the city to our car. It was amazing! Sat around and talked and then went to be fairly early as we had had another early start. Only just over 4 weeks ...

After lunch I walked with Sarah and Maggie to the top end of town where we parted ways for a couple of hours - me to continue to the travel shop near where M & S used to live when they first came to Chicago, Maggie and Sarah to pick up a few more items that Maggie had seen earlier in the week. The travel shop had nothing that inspired me to purchase; I then made my way to the North Face store on Michigan Ave where ...

... about what they've been doing wrong and why they lost the World Series last year. He was very very passionate about the whole thing and we ended up basically driving off on him mid sentence so we could get away. The buildings got taller and the streets got more congested and we knew then we had hit chicago. We went straight to our hostel to check in and freshen up before meeting up for dinner. Tonight we had chicagos famous deep ...
