Today was a travel day. We left Omaha and traveled Interstate 80 to Hammond, Indiana, which is just outside Chicago. We also stopped later in the day to pick up a couple at a truck …

... I realized there was no way Kylee was going to sit through this. There was way too much tilting and shaking of the simulator. So Kaleb and I went on while Jodi met up with Karyn. The simulator was good and both Kaleb and I felt like we needed to take a shower because it was so hot inside. The tour of the museum began by walking through a Boeing 787 hanging from the rafters. Next up, we moved on to exhibits contains electricity. Moving on to 2nd floor ...

... to keep away from Satan's Little Helpers, and line all the couches, beds, walls with a white powder. That seems to be the only way to kill them besides extreme heat (the fires of Mt Doom itself -yes, we're doing a LOTR marathon- or industrial laundro-mat driers). So that's what we did, and now my room looks like a small snowstorm has moved through.
