From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

... back to the airport at 2:30pm was a breeze. Returning Sophia was bittersweet. Haha She's a good little car. As ping back through security was a breeze. I highly recommend getting Pre-TSA status. You skip the lines and you don't have to trip down to your undies to go through their scanners.
