Well...this is it. Homeward Bound...

I woke up early to say goodbye to Vanessa and to shower, pack, and load my stuff into a cab at 8:30 bound for the airport. I had a no-tears goodbye from Vanessa and very teary goodbye from her parents (really, REALLY lovely people...I'm going to miss them all so much!) and at promptly 8:30, I hit the road, hoping not to be stuck in traffic too gnarly...

Today we were off to Fort Worth! Got up early and rushed around to get ready to drop Malcolm to the airport by 10am and then it took us 45 minutes and we were in Fort Worth!
