          ... nice or it would be if it was clean. The interns who are still here kept it quite messy. Also the fridge doesn't work, the tub is gross and clogged, and there's lightbulbs missing everywhere. The broken fridge is really a problem cause everything I eat usually is from there. The other interns used to just put their food outside cause it was cold enough but it's not anymore. We also have to sleep on cots in the living room since the other interns are still here and they don't appear to ...

          ... the famous Mannequin pis!

          There was a great summer atmosphere with on curb stalls (RK indulged in snails - yum!) and many enjoying a late summer evening. Brussels was a picturesque start to our European travels with ornate buildings and Guild houses on the market square and of course, the Hotel d'Ville...... much nicer than RK's last visit in 2005 over a public holiday. ...

          From there we walked around checking out the Bourse, tiny Rue des Bouchers, Jeanneke Pis (the girl version) and Galerie Saint Hubert. We stopped for lunch at one of the many restaurants along Rue des Bouchers to have mussels and stuffed crab and I had a nice Belgian beer. Brussels has plenty of typical things to do and mussels, chips and beer are definitely up there along with Belgian chocolate like Guylian and of course waffles. I ...
