Off to Bryce Canyon national park

We woke up rather late and after a light breakfast, we got caught up on laundry etc and started off towards our next destination, panguitch, Utah. This was a drive of approximately six hours, from California to Utah, with a brief time in Nevada. The temperature outside was above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the landscape was a desert. Pretty much no trees, only shrubs and small hills all over. But the highway was very busy and from inside an air conditioned car, it was a pleasant ...

Borates are minerals that ...

We packed up this morning and said farewell to Las Vegas and our Oasis in the desert. Tonight we will be at Huntington Beach in California. It's our last night with Harvey so the beach seems like a nice way to finish. It's great being back on the road after our little rest in Vegas. We head south out of Las Vegas to hook up to Route 66 again at Barstow to complete the journey. Just before Barstow we come across a 1950's diner in the middle of nowhere called Peggy Sues. We ...

... that smooth here. Somehow we had managed to jump in a taxi driven by the most crazy paranoid and deranged arminian guy who decided he would lecture us on conspiracy theory's the whole way. He covered everything from the queens role in globalisation to David Ikes knowledge of the illuminati. I am quite fond of this topic of conversation but now was not the time or the place for such deep decisions. We actually had to get out and close the doors while he was ...
