The County Health Department is very good for foreign travel information. The nurse gave us good information about mosquito repellants, what do take for intestinal problems and reminders about eating safely and staying healthy. Plus they give you an immunization record for travel.

... to have for extended stays. Since we are only going the carry on route, I will just buy toiletries when I get to Chile. A time to try out some new and different products. Not sure what the restrictions on for International travel with liquids. Easier to just buy shampoo, etc when we get there.
... the entire Christmas holiday in BA....Celebrations go thru 3 Kings Day which is Jan 6. Should be lots of fun.
We will be taking some day or overnight trips as well. Planning on going to the Iguazu Falls on our way out of Argentina. We will make more plans while we are in BA. I want to go to Peru --- Machu Picchu and Lima. Then maybe on to Columbia....

The drive back was so nice. Good talks, beautiful scenery (thanks to a wrong turn), and it finally cooled down. We ended the night with some BBQ, at a place that was truly hopping. It was so much fun. ...
