    We both slept in. It is Sunday 22 March and Russell told us about the Oakland Marathon today. He will be running. It's morning and I look out the window.     Donald and I got in the black Dodge Charger and wound our way through the mountains south to Albany, California, just outside of Oakland.

    There we met up with my college roommate from Syracuse University, Susan Lau, along with two of her sisters, Marie and Doris, along with her parents at Marie's Home.

    Omg the bed is made for a skinny midget . I got up first time nearly doing somersaults to get in. Hard as a rock and my arms hang over the side. Up about to go to toilet had to crawl back in like a snake. The room is 40 inches wide that is not real wide. By 5. I had had enough let me out of here so I went and sat in the diner.     Up early for breakfast at the hotel then of for a sightseeing trip around San Fran. Down to fisher mans wharf for the day, had a bus trip around the sights.
