    ... and now back to relax and do a few chores,like this. Tonight will be a early night as we will be meeting Lorraine and Bruce when they arrive early in the morning.     The sun is up around 5am at this time of year in Airdrie. We woke up to a calm morning but mid-afternoon a storm rolled in. Thunder and lightening, very, very frightening. Rain and more rain, but only for a short time. I finally got my missing suitcase (two days later) so all is good. It doesn't get dark until way after 10pm and these pictures were taken at 9pm.     Today we visited Centennial memorial park. It was made in 1914 to remember all of the people who died in the 2nd Boer War. There is a huge statue of an amazing equestrian soldier in the middle of the park. The ornamental gardens were also quite nice.
