Lovely little place on Rat Vitti (i think that's how you spell it). The staff leave you well alone which is great, the setting is lovely and it's near loads of good stuff so all good in that respect. THe rooms are a little spartan but hey, I didn't come to Thailand to spend all day in my room.

... to get good seafood ........... a bit cheeky really! He was very amenable, and directed us down to the piers along the sea front. Our high hopes were dashed as we realised that this was where all the Asian tourists were, and the beachfront restaurants were heaving with customers, steaming dishes of crabs and prawns held aloft and being delivered and devoured at a cracking rate. We enviously realised the folly of not booking ahead! However, when we'd been wandering around long ...

Anyway - that's in the future! The auction over, I wondered why I hadn't heard from Jay ( maybe she doesn't want to spend time with us oldies!) I was mortified when I discovered that she'd been trying to contact ...

... new things, and they are so sweet when they interact with us. They answer our questions and keep us informed. Plus, they joke around with us.

I find it interesting the way respect is shown here and in the states, because in different ways both cultures can seem more formal or respectful. For instance, I would never line dance with the president of Messiah as we do with the director of the school, here. It just wouldn’t happen, but I think ...

... their pet neutered using their on site vet. The park costs $250000 a year to run so they opened up these Eco tourism trips to fund it. You can stay for a week or few months of you want volunteering. The park is beautiful set in 300 acres. They have created a park so it's similar to the wild for 42 elephants. One women called Lek opened the park starting with one elephant. She has dedicated her whole life to these animals and what she has achieved ...

... fried bananas Full and quite proud of ourselves, we got dropped off at the hotel to rest. We have a busy next couple of days and were so full we just took a walk around the market and headed back to pack up our things. I really hope I can make a couple of things I tried today back at home. Any genius pigs who would like to be subjected to this possibly cruel and unusual punishment, please sign up in the comment section ;) Fist come, first ...
