... Sforzesco for a brief walk around - it is huge and beautifully built with rounded brick turrets and huge courtyards. We decided not to catch the metro but walk through the city, it is more interesting that way. We then visited the Duomo for an inside look. We took the audio tour, visited the crypt and found a cardinal Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster who was honoured for his contributions. He might be related! ... anymore the lovely Emirates Stewardess offers Dom Perignon 2004, who could say no to an offer like that. Another offers Arabic Coffee and a stuffed date, which is how I feel by now. The suites are huge and have sliding doors that can be closed for complete privacy, We are in ajoining suites that has a retractable screen so we can communicate how freaking good is this........

... it, so they recommended a cafe further along the lakeside. 20 minutes walk later, we were sitting there, drinking our coffees and cokes, and watching the swans and ducks on the lake. A short walk further to the next ferry stop - and the heavens opened again, only this time it was torrential. Once on the ferry we could barely see the shore!

We checked into our residence for the next 30 days, and was given an apartment on the 4th Floor with great views of the piazza.
