... by the main ticket booth and Tak (an area north of the central ruins). If I ever make it back here I guess I will have something to look forward to. Gorgeous day and in the mid 30s. I easily could have spent 2 days here taking it all in if a person has the time and wants to see everything like I tend to do.
I left at 4pm to grab my backpack from the hotel and then catch my bus that ended up late and didn't depart till 6:45pm. I will arrive in Chiang Mai at 2am. Deja vou once ...

... was almost worth the effort for the views at the top (this was one place we would not have found without our driver). Anyway, we had a lovely day and again as it was so hot, our day ended in the pool. We had it to ourselves most of the time today which was nice.

So the following day and all templed out once again, we decided not to get off the bus at Ayutthaya, as we had originally planned, but instead went all the way to Bangkok to plan our escape to the beaches!
