... New City and Old City and they are separated by about 12km. Old City is where all the temples are but New City is where all the guest houses are.

Our guest house is really nice. It's a cluster of little bungalows of which we have one and about 20 feet away from our bungalow is the pool. It looks a bit green but it is so hot here we thought - "oh well" and jumped in. It was so refreshing especially after a log hot bus ride from Chiang Mai which took 5 hours.

We turn up on a tuk tuk and wonder straight into a bike shop to be brandished with an absolute heap of junk to clatter ...

... 1 a head by bus. Awesome place and extremely massive. Contains 4 different areas with separate entrance fees. We were advised to rent a bike, tuk tuk or motorbike to get around. We opted to walk it but after 4hrs we couldnt do it anymore and threw in the towel. We saw a lot great temples and shrines during our one day visit but to walk it definitely takes a few days to do. So hot! That pool definitely comes in ...

First really long bus trip up to Sukohthai from krabi a nice 23 hours with a 3 hour stop off in Bangkok on the way just for fun! Bus wasn't to bad in the end though managed to get some decent kip. Had the oldest tuk tuk in the world to take us to our guesthouse! Nice riverside town here, rented out bikes and went for an explore around ...
