Jaipur: Rajasthan's Capital, "The Pink City"

A travel blog entry by cavilleharris89

Rajasthan state, meaning the Land of Kings, it is so aptly named. The region is riddled with forts and palaces of the maharajas. These treasures of the past make Te region one of the most popular travel destinations in India. Great day in Jaipur today, starting in the morning with a Happy Birthday to Kayla! She turned 18 today and along with her birthday, we saw the return of the bright warm sun !
Lots of animals during the day including, elephants, camels, pigs, monkeys, donkeys, horses, goats and of course lots and lots of cows !

We slept as long as we could, but still woke up just …
