    ... the side of the road I had to negotiate the hoards of people ramming money through a metal grill in order to get their booze. I was served quickly and a bottle of Smirnoff and Old Monk was the tipple.
    As we entered in to Puri there was a rave going on in the street, lots of Hindi’s dancing around to some raved up indian music, as we drove past a shower of party shards were released into the air and it was pretty special! ...

    ... one too. The street where my hotel is, is a 6 lane road with a 20 ft impeccable pavement on both sides (never mind that two wheelers are merrily zipping upon it in true Indian style ; at least it is there). I think its time to consider abandoning Bangalore, where the word pavement has not yet entered the dictionary.

    Its just a night halt here and I will be on the road again come morning. Orissa is not my target this time.

    I arrived yesterday evening and it was not easy to find an hotel, all full, except for a miserable and expensive room that I found after an hour of walking around the railway station.
    This morning I labored to find the tourist office in Bubaneshwar and when I got there, I found that the tours begin from tomorrow, so I took a rick shaw and went in search of the temples of the Middle Ages, cute, stone ...
