... to ride - horse, camel or carriage. I decided no to go for the camel. based on past experiences from another rider, so the horse it was! Which ironically was named Buttercup (she was a grey one) and quite stubborn, never wanting to go the way she was suppose too, except coming back in, she decided to run. Today we visited the famous Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic figure of the Sphinx. The Keops Pyramid was considered by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The pyramids are certainly an architectural wonder with their 2 and a 1/2 to 30 ton blocks of stone all fitting perfectly to form such a structure. ... stop was Komobo Temple, which is the crocodile temple. We were having a high tea on the sun deck just as we pulled up to it at 5pm. It's a beautiful temple that you can see from the boat. ... against the constant cat-calling, ass-grabbing assaults and the intense stare downs but to no avail. Some of the women I met in Cairo tell me that local women bare the brunt of the sexual harassment from Egyptian men….and they unfortunately seldom fight back.
