Today we visited the famous Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic figure of the Sphinx. The Keops Pyramid was considered by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The pyramids are certainly an architectural wonder with their 2 and a 1/2 to 30 ton blocks of stone all fitting perfectly to form such a structure. ... stop was Komobo Temple, which is the crocodile temple. We were having a high tea on the sun deck just as we pulled up to it at 5pm. It's a beautiful temple that you can see from the boat. Ahmed showed us around and talked to us about the main scenes at the temple including the surgical and midwifery scenes.
