      ... out last ride with our fabulous driver Biju (he expertly drove us through Kerela, through harrowing twisty roads and horrible traffic) and arrived at the airport around 230am. We somehow made it through and got to the first leg of our flight. I slept almost the whole 4 hr flight. Then we landed in Dubai which is a huge beautiful modern airport.       ... of teachers bustled around her while dressing her. We were sent to the nuns convent for tea with the local vicar as we awaited for the distinguished guests. Call me stupid, but it took us till now to realise that we were part of this illustrious list of local celebrities which was headed by the police chief.       So, here we are yet again in what some folks back home have heard called Paradise. Well if you like your Paradise filled with polio victims crawling like spiders, strange men in the shadows offering you opium and an enforced police curfew, then you've come to the right place.       ... breakfast at Om's cafe using the free wifi. Had lime-sodas for approx 15p. Spent the afternoon in a posh hotel pool which was a lovely relief from the 36degree heat! Found our favourite Fort Kochin cafe - Teapot and had some awesome cake and tea. Then went for more food - dinner at Kerala Cafe a little street restaurant for another curry (veggie again!) not as good as some of the others but cost us about 4pounds in total. Awesome. At the end we were given a new bar of soap and a cleanish towel and pointed to the bathroom to take a shower.
