... cricket player (tough one)/ Indian actor (even harder)/ sport/friend etc. They ended with the question about what our "ambition" was..sure gave you some stuff to think about;) Their English skills varied from quite good to none (but most people are still happy to talk to you) and our Malayalum skills were also non existing. Since it was Saturday they had evening church and with much excitement they told us to join, so we did. After 3 hours of singing prayers in Malayalum ...
... here and saw the lighthouse we decided it would be cool to climb the spiral staircase to get views of the Coast. We should have inquired then about things such as opening times but we didn't and on our last day here when at sunset we attempted to visit the lighthouse, we were told visiting times for public is 3-5 pm daily doh!!
In my opinion, some of kovlam's charm is in the labrynth of paths tucked behind the beach among the palm groves and rice paddies. ...

Now we have left Kovalum and are on a train on our way to Kanyakumari. This is the most south place that you can visit in India and also the point where 3 oceans meet and the sun goes up and down in the same place. Here we're going to spend one night to make sure we get to see both sunset and sunrise.
That was probably it for this time, now I will continue to watch the palm trees passing by outside our window:)
... and A/C. Arrived in Kollam a bit late due to the fact that the boat got sort of stuck (the engine props got stuck on weeds, so we all had to move to the front of the boat once to get us unstuck), we were thankful when they sorted things out but it was a bit iffy for a while there.
In Kollam we arranged an autorickshaw to take us to Varkala Beach…it was a 1 hour ride through town ...
... Mum and Dad dressing me and Nicki the same, more to identify us in a crowd !! But we were under 7 !!)
Last night they all had the same dress , Mum and daughters .. am I missing something?? We are not sure where they are from but its a bit strange.
