... It's just a strange haze over everything from the pollution. It effects the sunsets as well. The sun itself just sets and doesn't permiate the sky with any colors at all, just grey. It was hard to capture in a photo but interesting to watch.

I start my journey home tomorrow and will arrive back in DC the morning of the 12th. So excited! Already have dinner plans with my book club that night :)

So we are now in dreamy Hampi and you really can see why they call this that! Had another lovely week chilling in Arambol. Carried on in much the same vain of eat sleep drink and chill. ... is a pot hole, a speed breaker, a turn, a barricade or whatever. It was scary. But still……we kept riding. We HAD to reach Nipani or at least Belgaum. After sometime we changed the destination to Belgaum judging the conditions of driving. Somehow we managed to reach Belgaum by 9 PM. We were exhausted. Well, 480 kms ain’t a joke right.

Next step was to find an accommodation. Which is not so difficult considering it’s a big city. ...

... This place is a lot better than what you expect. Its a fantastic couple of days off into the realms of nature. I recommend this to anyone who needs a short break from stress filling lives.

Tips -
1. Bring a basic flashlight with you. It will come in handy.
2. Not very useful for Senior citizens.
3. Nothing to do for kids so do set expectations right.
