... to take her money and let her renege on the whole idea. Not letting her off that easily they finally got her to let go of the guide and step backwards off the edge. Bucket list ticked for Cathy and Carolyn....Michael stupidly wants to do it again!! A looooooong drive back to Kelowna via Vancouver had Rae in need of a final nights bottle of Veuve to celebrate the stupidity of the other 3! Government liquor stores DO NOT keep any cold drinks....at least in Kelowna. ...

... park in the village. It was dull today. A pleasant temperature but rain was in the air. We walked down to the village and the kids had a great time doing a bungee trampoline, bouncy house, maze, miniature golf and the like. Great fun was had by all most of the time, but there were moments! Whistler is a real hive of activity in the summer months as there are thousands of people with their mountain ...

... we would get the peek to peek later. After a few photos with the Olympic Rings, Sarah,grace,Daylene Steph Jo n Nathan all headed on further up to the summit in the ski lift. it was amazing so high above the village, up to the summit we went passing over snow covered trails the most amazing blue pools of melted snow between the rocks when I wasn't rabbiting on about how amazing it was ... It was silent apart from the turning of the chair lift the sun was shining ...

The season is drawing to a close, Whistler Mountain is soon to shut and with that the formal ski season is over. This means 95% of staff stop getting a pay cheque but the upside to this is they do not have to go to work! This includes Jenny who deserves a break more than most having worked the last 15 days without a day off, working two jobs, as mentioned in previous post. Jenny will tell you more about that below.

... some of the furniture required a lot of push, pull and twist to get them out of the house! The reward for our efforts was $25 and two bottles of beer each as a tip!
