... of road before the finish in a respectable time of around 1 1/2 hrs. We waited to see if yesterday's place getters would get us but we managed to pull off another second placing. We received our finishers belt buckle and a Tee shirt whilst the rain started to fall but nothing could dampen our spirits after such a successful week.Everyone was giving each other congratulatory high fives and hugs and it was a good way to end what has been the most time on a bike for me. ...

... hype and purchased a property with an Olympic price tag! Those same properties are also causing further consternation for their home owners with issues with the energy & cost efficient heating system installed to impress the world! The system has not been cost efficient for many residents who complain of large repair bills shortly after the warranty has expired. These properties were built within tight time constraints…was the work rushed?

... Vancouver. We played a few social games of pool of Saturday night before the pros entered! We were mucking around and playing doubles and we would brush off little things! These other kids are crazy pool rats! Clearly our flexible rules are a no-goer around them! So I just became a pro spectator! Not like I was very good at pool to start with so the bench was where I belonged! Not much else to report from Saturday! Sunday after 4 hours sleep we hung around at the hostel eating popcorn ...
