... immigration tee hee! Room at hotel not ready (3pm!!) so having a coffee at a local cafe while Clive is glued to the World Cup coverage on the tv. Got some info on the Okanagan wine region so doing a bit of research whilst waiting.... Looking forward to a shower and a change of clothes , then will sort out where to go for dinner ...

... so regardless of how awesome they are continuing on right now might not do traveling justice. Or our wallets...

The next steps are apartment hunting and putting our lives back together. It's an exciting time, and it's summer in Vancouver. It doesn't get much better than that!

... so many bad things about Manila but Cebu was by far the less attractive metropolis. The one thing that stood out to us was at the giant shopping mall in uptown. The architects had designed a beautiful semi outdoor area with multiple levels and filled with all sorts of restaurants. The best way to describe it is to picture a food court full of proper restaurants surrounded by stunning gardens and lights. They had named it "the terraces" because of the resemblance to ...

... night, stuffed up right form the get go there. Only managing to get about 18hr sleep over a week.

Had a Global Work And Travel (GWAT) induction, where in the package that we thought we we're getting they would sort out our SIN,Bank and Phones. In reality they printed a map and told us to "Go find it your self's" which wasn't to bad, but not the point.

Exciting day – I get to board the Sapphire Princess. Started the day with a two block walk to Starbucks for a coffee. Had a yogurt and muesli and a Pumpkin spice Latte. Very sweet and spicy I guess using the spices the locals put into their pumpkin pie. An acquired taste and not one I would want on a daily basis but might be fun to have at Halloween, except I am not going to have any room in my luggage. ...
