... of others. There seems to be a very strong community spirit. We found out the dancing started at 10.30pm, and its a bit far for us folks and its cold out there. We cycled down to the beach which is not very far. It looks glorious too, but the water is too cold to swim in.

We found Camper Serv the other day, nearby Quarteira. We were able to get the skylight that we broke back in Bilbao, Spain. My water tightness with ...

Although we have been there a few time over the years we now can say we we have a much better feel for the city as we must have walked 20ks every day. This is Monchique. 820m above the plains of the Algrave.
Our GPS took us up a single lane intrepid local road. A bit scary at times. Should have known better and stay on the beaten track. We got there unscathed and meeting the only vehicle on the road at a very convenient point. Otherwise we might have uncorked a cork tree. It was a bit like a James Bond drive but in a campervan, no guns involved. Phew.. Great view.

... about 1/5 price in NZ. Looks nice too. We find it cheaper to get new SIM cards than extend our MEO phone contract. Euro 10 for 10 GB. Too hard for me to figure out. Perhaps tourists don't spend more than a month here our they find WIFI easy. Any way it is a great deal, like most things here. ...
