I stayed at the Rainbow gathering near South Point until Feb 9th. i met many new friends and made great contacts for future visiting with locals. Sang and jammed everynight! Worked in the kitchen most days... swam, sunned, explored, did vitamin L, had a UFO sighting (YA!) and joined in a Salvia "workshop"... lied in green sands made of perriot …

The American Thanksgiving required us to track down a turkey dinner which will probably be our last for quite some time- there was a heavy pineapple influence but thats to be expected- we are in the tropics.
Another day on the beach, a gorgeous sunset and our time in paradise (expensive though it was- make a note Martin) has come to and end. We're off to Bangkok although I see that DH has chained herself to the coffee table.

... Sauerbraten, a German speciality which was the special of the day today. So we both tried, as it came with spaetzle and red cabbage. The spaetzle and red cabbage were really tasty, the Sauerbraten is – well as the name suggests – a bit sour. Not my favourite. But still great to have some European food! ... this guy for what seemed like forever as he dove among the reefs, and glided through the water. Beautiful. Afterwards we paddled towards shore and said our goodbyes. I hope to see this man again sometime if I am in the area as he added so much to my first trip to Maui! Check him out for a massage or a run on the beach if you are in the Kihei area (look him up on the web!!).
