    ... after a message come through he's parked across the road where I walking too. After two year he hadn't changed much at all was a great feeling to see the big smile on his face. Meeting with ha hand shake then a hug like true friends and travellers do. Heading to his place where he's now wife was home waiting for us we stopped to pick up a few cold bottles for a Canadian local beers to enjoy and catch up. Plus being asked for I.D.     ... down in the tourist area near the falls. Oh, except for a great little micro-brewery. Here in Canada they have beer tastings (which they call a flight) at all the microbreweries and even some restaurants. Great way to taste your way through the range of beers that the many microbreweries are producing.

    ... hardly see 2 feet in front of us - I know what you are thinking - why didn't we just turn around then and there but this is another one of those "Alice in Wonderland rabbit-hole moments" and despite my total fear, we kept walking (well trying to walk) maybe our brains had frozen and we couldn't think logically!!!

    So, we are standing on the corner of E84th & 1st Ave looking up and down the road and there was not a single car on the road - now ...

    ... to these two cities and stay up all night walking from piece to piece. The city really comes alive and the atmosphere is fun and electric. I only saw some of the pieces and each one was amazing. Some resonated with me more than others but all had an impact.

    So now I have finished my drink by the fire and am once again warm and toasty so I am off to bed. Tomorrow we are off to Quebec for our cruise on the Emerald ...

    ... the Canandian side to see the Falls.

    Well we made it finally, we have checked into the hotel, and went right away to see the Falls. The powerfull water rushing down the river and over the falls is definetly a must see. It is just awe inspiring.

    Its our second day here and we are going on the Maid of Mist boat ride up to the falls, and got soaking wet from it. AMAZING!!!!! ...
