They were our last dives and Jamie is now a qualified PADI Open Water Diver and I’m a qualified Advanced Open Water Diver – we are both very happy with our achievements and it has been agreed it has been a great adventure. ... we went back poolside and participated in the Owner’s Drinks afternoon – free drinks poolside, I think I had about 4 beers. They played a few games with the guests, had a dance type scene and ultimately had an excellent turnout – seems free drinks is popular.

... the nightly happy hour from 5pm to 7pm in the Sunset Bar overlooking the Pacific Ocean then 9pm to 10pm in the Sports Bar. Bill did tell us that when we landed I was given Chief powers as the head Male in the house is the Chief. He said while I am in Fiji I can use those powers to tell Leanne to do what ever I want. But once I leave the airport those powers are removed and then I will have to pay for what happened this week!

... from the maritime safety organisation to attend a search site only 36 miles from our position, and we’d spent the last 9 hours on an expanding square search pattern looking for a possible ship/boat in distress, based on a sighting of a “flare” from a Carnival cruise ship. We are released from the search after the authorities work out it was either a meteor or space junk, and there had been lots of sightings, as far as New Zealand. We are surprised it ...
