Rainbow lodge is superb. We met great people, beds were good, showers were great, everything was spot on! Also, very personal and they remembered our names and locations--very nice touch :)

Gestern, nach nacht Nummer sechs im Rainbow Lodge Hostel, wurde es uns endlich gestattet, den Tongariro Alpine Crossing walk in Angriff zu nehmen. Unser Wecker rief uns zur unchristlichsten Stunde (4.50uhr) wach; der shuttle bus begab sich auf den weg um 5.40uhr.
