      ... hungry and decided to go get lunch. Like a responsible adult that I am, I got Mtn Dew, Jack Daniels with Coke and Oreos. On the way back to the hotel I luckily noticed the sushi bar nearby and actually got something to eat xD

      ... but as this is the equivalent to a popular European destination for Russians, it was a far cry away from what we had experienced before. Opting not to partake in the Russian holiday season we did the typical western thing and made way for the cinema to watch Taken 3. A hefty £2 cinema ticket including a large popcorn and drink, we thoroughly enjoyed our night. With a fourteen hour night bus ahead of us we decided to have a quiet day in preparation.       "David, the taxi is here". Shouted Jane from outside. Music to my ears, I turned and went, he was already hassling some other poor guy before I had even got out the door.

      I was so excited for another train trip. I do love it. It's so much better than being on a bus or plane. Comfortable, spacious, smooth. It is better being able to see more because we are not just stuck on main roads.

      ... we hopped on a converted fishing trawler to go and visit one of the nearby island fishing villages. Fascinating insight into how the communities live. Although this community looked pretty wealthy by the standards of some of the areas we had seen in Ho Chi Minh city in particular.
