    9 hours 15 minutes to Auckland from Singapore - our shortest long haul flight.
    I tried for a sleep after that but gave up after about half an hour and watched If I Stay. Tessa managed some sleep and then I managed a couple of hours. Kristy had no sleep apart from a snooze just before dinner.

    ... to a public toilet, and after another excellent bbq and a supermarket dash for a half price Easter eggs we are going to have an early night ahead of more driving tomorrow. Tomorrow morning we are driving back through Auckland and around the corner to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach which sounds really fun!     Slept very well and had a little breakfast at 9.00. The Firth of Thames had some very small waves moving north, but no orcas or dolphins for Amanda. The sun was hot and we chatted in the garden about travelling, renting out rooms, aps etc..     ... seemed like a lovely place, with a few nice bars and shops. I stopped to pick up a few gifts for everyone back home and got myself a pauau shell ring to remind me of my time in NZ. The walk was so long, and it took me all the way along the coastline and up along a cliff top, with the most spectacular views down onto the beaches below.
