Last I wrote we were at Mt. Rushmore. From there, we drove a short day to Devil's Tower. Our campground was literally at the entrance gate, as you can see from the photo. From there we drove to Billings, MT, stopping at the Little Bighorn Battlefield. It was an impressive, sad, and thought-provoking site. ... Museum, home and studio. Russell (1864-1926) is the famous cowboy painter of life in Montana among the Native Americans especially on the Great Plains. The weather was in the 80's and dry. I noticed the altitude at an elevation of 4407. We enjoyed another happy hour followed by DQ Blizzards in support of Miracle Children's Network.
