      ... several tailors offering to make him a shirt or a suit...Hong Kong is famous for its tailors and we did actually go with one and David was measured up. Sadly, we would not have been able to collect the shirt tomorrow and, because they wanted the cash upfront, we did not feel comfortable agreeing to a purchase. We might contact them when we return to England though.

      Later on we headed down to the harbour to catch "A Symphony of Lights" light show at 8pm over the Hong Kong skyline. Apparently it is in the Guinness world records as the worlds 'largest permanent light and sound show", however we thought it was a bit disappointing, just some music and lasers (not all of the buildings joined in) but still a great experience. Hong Kong has the most skyscrapers in the world, almost double that of New York. ...

      After a lie-in this morning we got the Star ferry over to Kowloon for a huge dim sum lunch with Rocky and Derah. Seeing Hong Kong island from afar gives a better idea of just how impressive the skyline is on both sides - we have never seen so many sky scrappers packed so closely together. We also noted the Chinese definitely love their designer labels as there are designer shops everywhere and people queue outside the stores. At the restaurant,in the ladies ...
